A small step towards screening today can make a big difference in protecting our health tomorrow!
As part of Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust organised a cancer screening camp at K.K. Pudur School, Madurantakam, bringing essential preventive healthcare services closer to the local community.
A total of 33 beneficiaries, including 11 men and 22 women, participated in the camp.
Screening Highlights:
14 iBreast Examinations
33 Oral Examinations
1 Positive iBreast Screening Finding
One positive screening finding was identified through the iBreast examination, highlighting the importance of early detection, timely medical consultation, and further evaluation. A positive screening result does not necessarily indicate cancer but requires appropriate medical follow-up.
Through Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust continues to bridge healthcare gaps in rural communities by promoting cancer awareness, regular screening, and preventive healthcare practices.
Every screening matters, every life deserves care, and early detection can make a difference.
Together with PHCs, local communities, healthcare professionals, and CSR partners, we remain committed to making cancer screening more accessible across Madurantakam and Chengalpattu District.
Would your PHC, village, panchayat, school, organisation, or workplace like to host a cancer screening camp? get in touch with us. Together, we can bring early detection closer to every community.
